We review every application by hand and match you based on your location, writing style, and what you shared about yourself. You'll receive your match's name and mailing address by email once we've found the right fit. We don't use an algorithm — every match is intentional.

Matching times vary depending on how many applications we receive. We'll do our best to pair you within 2–4 weeks of your submission. You'll hear from us either way.

Your address is only shared with your confirmed pen pal — no one else. We take privacy seriously and will never share your information with third parties.

Life happens. If your pen pal goes silent after two missed letters, reach out to us and we'll do our best to rematch you. We want this to be a real, lasting connection — not a one-time exchange.
